Frequently asked questions

Grouped answers on booking, studio use, files and payment. If this page differs from our terms or privacy policy, those documents prevail.

Booking and payment

How do I request a session?

Use the contact form, [email protected] or 020 261 4783. Include service, length, references and possible dates. We send a written quote within 2 working days.

When is my booking confirmed?

After written acceptance of the quote and receipt of the 35 % deposit. Without the deposit we cannot hold the slot for long.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer for deposit and balance; card in the studio by arrangement. Business clients pay on invoice within 21 days unless the quote says otherwise.

Are your prices incl. VAT?

Yes, consumer prices on the site include 21 % VAT. Services also shows excl. amounts, e.g. €98 per vocal hour incl. VAT.

Can I cancel as a consumer?

Up to 4 days before the session you can move or cancel free of charge. Closer to the date, our terms and conditions apply.

On session day

How long to record one song?

For a three- to four-minute track, expect roughly two to four hours of booth time including warm-up and comping. More songs in one day is possible, but quality comes first.

Can I bring guests?

One or two visitors in the control room is usually fine. For larger groups, tell us ahead via contact so we can plan space and safety.

Do you provide instruments?

Band sessions include backline in the live room (see band recording). We do not lend guitars or basses; amps and drum kit are available as quoted.

What if we run over?

Extensions only if the next slot is free and you agree in advance. Extra time is billed per hour or half day at the booked service rate.

Should I bring headphones?

Not required; we stock closed and semi-open models. Bring your own if you prefer a familiar pair.

Files and delivery

Which file format do you deliver?

24-bit WAV at 48 kHz by default unless another sample rate is on the quote. Mixes and masters ship as agreed stereo (and stems on request).

How long do you keep sessions?

14 months after the last session or delivery. We then delete project files from our servers. Back up as soon as you receive the link.

Can I take raw multitrack away?

Yes when quoted. We can export all tracks per session; large projects need advance planning for time and storage.

How does mix-only work?

Send stems or a DAW project per bounce or stems guide. Offline mix includes 2 revision rounds; extra rounds are quoted separately.

Mastering: attended or unattended?

Both: per track or EP unattended, or a two-hour attended session (see mastering). Loudness targets follow streaming loudness guide.

Rights and privacy

Who owns the recordings?

After full payment for the agreed service we deliver files for your use as set out in terms. The studio does not claim copyright in your music or lyrics.

May I share session material online?

That is your call, provided you do not infringe third parties. Do not publish raw takes featuring other artists without their consent.

Do you use our audio to train AI?

No. We do not use client recordings to train machine-learning models and we do not create voice clones without written permission.

What happens to form data?

We process it to reply and prepare quotes. Retention and rights are in the privacy policy; cookies in the cookie policy.

Minimum age to book?
